Deseret Industries Survey Coupon: How to Save 15% on Clothes

We may earn money from the companies mentioned in this post.

The only thing better than scoring some great secondhand clothes is getting 15% off those clothes a coveted DI coupon. High five, frugal friend! This wondrous Deseret Industries survey for a 15% off coupon isn’t actually something to be coveted at all, because it’s offered at the bottom of every single receipt. I knew I needed to write an article about it when I misplaced my last receipt and was hoping to access the survey for a Saturday morning out thrifting…and I couldn’t find a link!

Now I’ll never be without a coupon again. Saturday thrifting, here I come!

For those unaware, DI offers a coupon on their receipts just for answering a one-question survey! Complete the quick Deseret Industries survey here and input the survey ID 6003 to receive a coupon code to show on your phone during your next visit. On our last visit, we found $30 worth of donated clothing and scored $4.50 off said clothing with our coupon from completing the survey. The survey website is deseretindustries.org/survey and just takes a couple of seconds.

The survey ID, 6003, is the number you need to get into the survey. The survey code is what they give you at the end of the survey to show the cashier.

You can do this on your phone and then take a screenshot of the final page showing your 15% off code. Then don’t forget to use it at checkout!

We recently outfitted our entire family of five for a wedding using Deseret and a few Savers’ finds and spent about $50 total! Dockers’ pants, Skechers shoes, an Anne Taylor top, Nine West shoes, and various other quality brand clothing were among our finds. Even the Columbia leather belt was bought secondhand, and it was $5. Heck, even our underwear was used. Just kidding, that’s where we drew the line.

Here’s how we looked:

Deseret has soooo many kids’ clothes!

Plus, on my last visit, I bought a brand-new black Ralph Lauren dress for $8.50!

Did you know you can negotiate some prices too? We asked for a discount on a shirt with a small hole in the hem, and the cashier gave us the $2.50 shirt for $1. We also asked for $5 off a $25 bike. The cashier said maybe if it’s still there next week. We came back the following week and bought it for $20.

  6. On Monday, I dropped off three bags of donations to the Sacramento store. I arrived a few minutes prior to the store opening. I was greeted by Erick. He greeted me kindly and with a smile on his face, he took my donations. Erick provided excellent customer service at a time when he could have said that the store was not yet accepting donations. Erick is an excellent team member and someone who strives to help all customers !!

    1. Agreed! Prices have been climbing (especially since you can only use a coupon on clothes) over the last couple of years, though I still think they’re more reasonable than Savers or Idaho Youth Ranch.

  10. Was told that the workers, and managers, at the Twin Falls ID. store are now cherry picking in the back, before putting items on the floor. I did not be-leave it until today, when I over herd some of them bragging about what they got, and how much its all worth. Shame on all for you.
