Petco Coupons: Save 10% on a $50+ Pickup Order or 20% off $80

My sweet chocolate lab, Sammy, grew from a ten-pound puppy to an 80-pound cuddle beast in a few short years. During this time, I learned to take advantage of Petco coupons, Petsmart coupons, and Chewy codes to keep said beast fed. She’s the old gal on the right. Two soft beds for these monsters, but they prefer the hardwood floor.
Petco coupons, promo codes, and sales: ways to get deals on dog food
There are actually several ways to save money in addition to Petco coupons, and I’ll share all the ways I save here.
1. Sign up for Petco emails and watch the pickup deals
The best way to get Petco coupons and sale alerts is to go straight to the source. In fact, it’s the only way I know when to update this post. They send me a great offer and I HAVE to share it!
For example, Petco routinely offers 10%-25% off $50-$80+ curbside pickup purchases–food included (though many brands are excluded)! Nice deal to stock up on. Here’s the fine print:
- No promo code is needed. The promotion and discount will automatically be added to your qualifying subtotal.
- In order to qualify for the buy online and pickup in-store discount, you must choose the “I’ll Pick It Up” option, choose your store, and add to your Shopping Cart. If the “I’ll Pick It Up” option is not available, it is not available in stores. Please contact your local Petco for availability.
- The discount applies to your online purchase subtotal for the pickup of in-store products only. Subtotal refers to the total of orders before taxes and shipping. Max discount $50. The qualifying subtotal excludes any Repeat Delivery orders or One-Time delivery orders.
- Items that are being shipped do not qualify for the promotion.

Sign up for emails at the bottom of the site to get notified of new Petco sales and coupons. The link is at the bottom right corner of their website. When I signed up, I also received an invitation to join the Pet Lover’s survey panel. They sent me three surveys and paid me with a $5 gift card for each short survey about my cat!
2. Find nicely discounted Petco gift cards on Raise.com
One of my favorite ways to save money on dog food is to buy gift cards for stores at a significant discount. One site I noticed that constantly offers a huge discount on Petco gift cards is Raise. Raise offers a consistent 5.9% off plus $5 off with this Raise.com referral link. Right now, they’re running a sale that offers an additional 10% off your first purchase with promo code FIRST.
That means a $100 gift card would cost about $80 for first-time Raise users! Head over to raise.com to check out their selection. I use this company to both buy and sell gift cards, and I know they are legit. They also have excellent customer service and a money-back guarantee. Make sure you pay attention to ecards vs. physical cards, and whether or not you can use them online vs. in-store only.

3. Use Befrugal.com and get the best Petco coupons plus cashback

Go right to the source and check out the Petco coupons page. They offer up different sales or coupons every Sunday. Be sure to sign up for their email newsletter pop-up to get savings and coupons in your email.
5. Autoship and save 35% on the first order
Petco routinely offers 35-40% off your first auto-ship (repeat delivery) order and 5% off thereafter. You can cancel at any time.
From the Petco website:
- The 35% off discount is valid only on first-time Repeat Delivery orders.
- No promo code is needed. Discount will be reflected in the Cart.
- The 35% discount automatically applies to your first-time, qualifying Repeat Delivery purchase and is reflected in the “Promotions” line in your Order Summary at Checkout. The maximum discount amount is $20.
- Free Standard Shipping is available for first-time and subsequent Repeat Delivery orders over $35. Oversized or heavy items may incur an additional per-item shipping & handling fee or surcharge. 7. Wait a few hours and you’ll get a coupon for your cart in your email
If you have an account and you browse their site while signed in, you may get an email offering you 10% off your order. For example, I was browsing the site while writing this article, and within half an hour I had a Petco coupon offer for 10% off right in my inbox! It’s probably helpful if you have something added to your cart.
